Anxiety Counselling Online
Anxiety counselling online can help you to address your anxiety issues from the comfort of your own home. Anxiety disorder symptoms can make it difficult to leave the house making access to therapy difficult. We offer anxiety counselling on Zoom or Skype.
We can help you to understand the root cause of your anxiety difficulties and process them to help with current symptoms. We use an integrative approach to help manage anxiety symptoms as well as get to the bottom of why you might feel anxious.
We all have anxious feelings from time to time caused by difficulties experienced in daily life. However, feeling anxious, fearful, tense and worried all the time when there is no obvious present trigger could mean that you are suffering from an anxiety disorder.
Anxiety Disorder Causes
Anxiety can be caused by a number of different experiences which might include: an overwhelming or traumatic event, bullying, a history of addiction, long term health difficulty or difficulties experienced in childhood. There are also a number of conditions which contribute to anxiety symptoms. These include General Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Anxiety Disorder Symptoms
Anxiety disorder symptoms can be physical and psychological. Physical symptoms can include feeling easily startled, fatigue, irritability, headaches, difficulty sleeping or a sense of dread. Psychological symptoms might include negative thinking, intrusive thoughts, worrying or obsessive thinking.

Our Anxiety Therapy Approaches
We use an integrative approach to help you with anxiety.
Psychotherapy can help to understand how the past is affecting the present. It helps you make long lasting changes by developing the qualities needed to overcome anxiety. Behavioural therapy enables you to challenge unhelpful thinking which keeps the anxiety feelings running longer. We also use somatic psychotherapy to tackle anxiety with a bottom up approach to assist with somatic anxiety symptoms. EMDR therapy can help you to reprocess the root causes of anxiety as well as present anxiety triggers.
