Wellness Coaching

Wellness coaching is a way of working collaboratively with a wellness coach to improve your sense of wellness. Wellness as a concept means different things for different people. Some people are very much in touch with a feeling of wellness whilst others do not think about it at all and do not know what wellness really feels like. 

The way we look after ourselves everyday contributes to our sense of wellness. Our daily habits relating to sleep, what we eat, the exercise we do and stress levels all influence our wellness. 

We offer wellness coaching as an adjunct to therapy but also as a stand alone coaching service. Our wellness coaching covers several key areas which influence our wellness. these include: mental wellness, emotional wellness, somatic wellness, spiritual wellness, environmental wellness and the external influences on these different areas. 

Wellness coaching format is dependent on what you might want to work on. We might set some wellness goals, work on some wellness exercises or talk through what wellness means and how you might find ways to feel well in your everyday life. 

Our wellness coaching also has a spiritual and transpersonal backdrop. We prioritise your connection to your spiritual self because without this connection it is difficult to feel truly well.

If we don't feel well we can't enjoy life. I can help you to work on areas that influence your feeling of wellness. Feeling and being well are connected and are influenced by our daily habits and the company we keep. We are not necessarily in a position to make wholesale changes to our lives but we can make small adjustments which can have a positive impact. Feeling well isn't always a choice but we can do things which move things in a positive direction. Once examples might be creating a nurturing space for ourselves or a regular spiritual practice.

Breathwork

Mindfulness Practice

Meeting the present moment without judgement with mindfulness based practice is about being as opposed to doing. It can help us to become connected to our true selves and feel well. 

EMDR Resourcing

EMDR stands for eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing therapy. We also use it to strengthen internal resources you already have for wellness and create new ones with EMDR resourcing for wellness. 

Visualisation

It is difficult to achieve something that we cannot see or visualise. When we visualise something it makes it more achievable by creating a neural network. When we strengthen it with reinforcement it makes something a real possibility.
